Revive and thrive
Revitalising healthcare teams through professional development, human factors training, and wellbeing strategies
What we Aim to Achieve
What is our Revive and thrive course?
Our team at Endeavour Medical have all found career paths that we love, work with colleagues we value and feel passionate about our NHS.
We want to share our insights and choices with you.
The Revive and Thrive course aims to enhance existing clinical and professional skills, restore enthusiasm for our profession and deliver practical tools in resilience and mental health that can be used daily in personal and professional lives.
We deliver courses for foundation doctors, residents and senior doctors.
This is a Category 3 course in Southwest and Severn Deanery.
If you are a Programme Lead or Educator and would like to book a course please get in touch here.
Why this matters
Our NHS doctors are the backbone of healthcare, but high burnout rates are causing many to question their future within the system. At our core, we are passionate about supporting the NHS workforce, helping to reduce the stigma around wellbeing and resilience. Through our engaging course, we foster a culture of openness and support, where participants feel valued, heard, and empowered. This course not only inspires staff but also helps them rediscover their enthusiasm for their careers. We aim to educate the upcoming workforce on the vast opportunities within the NHS, managing a productive work life balance and ensuring a strong, motivated, and connected healthcare team for the future.
How we Deliver
The course is delivered through a highly experienced faculty using simulation, workshops, lectures and open discussions, all taking place in a beautiful outdoor setting. The course uses simulation training in out of hospital scenarios as the medium through which to focus on Crew Resource Management (CRM), teamwork and leadership. These work to foster connections and break down barriers to enable an open forum for our structured mental health and resilience workshops.
Wellbeing is woven in throughout the course: open discussions are encouraged during every session; the course is held off site with evening meal and campfire chats enabling reconnection with our colleagues. Wellbeing activities such as yoga, nature walks and kayaking form part of our extra curricular content.
