EXPEDITION AND MARINE MEDICINE

Venture into the world of Marine Medicine

30th Sept – 3rd Oct 2024
£895
North Cornwall

This aquatic activity based course will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to work as a medic in maritime expeditions and events.

Based in the beautiful coastal location of North Cornwall, each day will provide a new skill in kayaking, coasteering, SUPing, surf life saving and wild swimming. During activities we will immerse you in salty sea scenarios to gain insight into the practical human factors and leadership elements of saving lives at sea. The marine medicine course culminates in an overnight sea kayaking expedition along the Cornish coastline with camp fires and sea shanties under the stars.

Course faculty includes RNLI doctors, surf lifesaving medics and water safety experts, who covered the London Olympics and big wave surfing events, to share with you the latest techniques in water rescue. If you are keen water enthusiast, we encourage peer to peer learning so please join us to share your skills.
